Experience:
With over 30 years experience in military and commercial operations, David has brought organisations and teams through experiences as challenging as the Gulf War and the fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone; he has successfully achieved major organisational and cultural transformations in the Army and the commercial sector, including the AA; where he has delivered, concurrently, record levels of operational performance, financial benefits, improved customer experience and higher team engagement.
David is passionate about people; his approach is collegiate and empowering and is rooted in openness and trust. By concentrating on the people – whether that’s at the foundations of trust, the mechanics of structure or the hard metrics of performance – David has been able to unlock the full potential of individuals, teams and organisations.
In his spare time David enjoys walking his dog’s and designing gardens.

Coaching Style:
Solution Focussed, People Centric, Exploratory
David’s approach is positive, enthusiastic and engaging. He is particularly adept at seeing connections and in enabling clients to view challenges and opportunities from alternative perspectives opening different options and identifying new solutions.
David brings his training and experience forward into his coaching style applying rigour and curiosity to achieve a deep understanding of context and clarity of vision. He is skilled in helping clients see possibilities, build belief and find and nurture the courage to see plans through.
David works best with people who are not satisfied with the status quo, who are open to challenge but might not yet see a way forward or feel they have the courage to effect transformative change.
