Why bring your brain to work?
Why Think it Out?
Up to the turn of the 19th century people were paid for the ‘it’ that was physical labour. By the mid 20th century, thanks to computers and machines, we shifted to valuing and paying people for their skills in applying systems, analysis and inputting processes (IT).
Today’s 21st century workplaces most values those skilled in leading others in creative responses and applications to our rapidly changing World. In other words, today’s top leaders and teams are being valued and paid for the ‘it’ that is the ability to think, to communicate and so apply this thinking to make the difference.
Yet the leadership, management and communication models acquired by today’s leaders and teams are all too often based and fixed on the labour and process eras of the last 2 centuries. At best this creates glass ceilings, at worst it kills companies, enterprise and people: 8 of 10 new businesses die within 5 years.
That’s where Think it Out comes in. By combining the advancing knowledge of how our brain’s work with applied, high performance leadership experience (contemporary applied neuroscience) we help you and your teams unlock, elevate and release your most valuable asset: your, and your team’s, ability to think and apply that thinking to thrive in the 21st century – to Think it Out.
We do this through relationships, re-humanising your teams from the inside out so you can realise radical, powerful and lasting growth that is healthy for all.
With first-hand and real-world experience of high performance, neurodiversity and mental health issues, as well as the skills and knowledge of how the human brain works, has forged an individual passionate to enable those that want or need to think and communicate more clearly to unlock and release their greatness – especially those that are striving or need to change their worlds for the benefit of others i.e. leaders. To go on the hero’s journey together: to be more, to open up the possible and then to go beyond.
Appreciating the beautiful complexity and power in the diversity of people (other brains) has led Iain to found an associate group of incredibly capable, experienced, innovative and engaging individuals called Think it Out to unlock and release the greatness within us all – so together we can be the positive change we need to see in the World.
