the people behind Think it Out
Good thinking gets better with different perspectives
Think it Out brings together people with different expertise, experience and ways of looking at the world.
We ask different questions. Notice different things.
Occasionally disagree.
We care fiercely about what we do.
And we’re very good at it.
DR Iain price
Dot joiner.
Applied neuroscientist.
Coach.
Speaker.
Author.

Iain is endlessly curious about what makes people, teams and organisations tick – and what becomes possible when we give good thinking enough room.
He brings together applied neuroscience, coaching, communication and years of working with leaders and organisations navigating interesting, complicated things.
He’s particularly good at joining dots that don’t immediately appear to belong together, asking the question that shifts the conversation, and making complicated ideas genuinely useful.
There’s serious expertise behind his work. Very little ceremony around it.
Jen is fascinated by people – how we think, how we work, what matters to us and what changes when someone asks a really good question.
She brings coaching, mentoring and supervision together with deep expertise in neuroinclusion, disability and accessibility. Her work is grounded in curiosity, pragmatism and a belief that the best way of working is the one that works for the people actually doing it.
She’s particularly good at noticing what hasn’t quite been said yet, asking questions from unexpected angles and creating conversations where people can be thoughtful, ambitious, uncertain, brilliant – and human.
Expect warmth, challenge, plenty of analogies and straight talking when it’s needed.

JP knows a fair bit about what happens when conditions get challenging.
He has worked at director level, built and run his own successful business, and spent years working with leaders and organisations where performance, change and results matter.
He started his career as an outdoor adventure coach and continues to coach elite paddle sports athletes at world-class level. That combination gives JP a rare perspective on performance: what helps people stay effective, make good decisions and keep moving when the conditions around them aren’t entirely within their control.
His style is quick-witted, inquisitive and action-focused. He brings warmth and understanding, but he’s not particularly interested in dancing around the thing that needs saying.
Expect energy, challenge, optimism and a strong preference for turning good thinking into action.
a different kind of perspective
We also have the people who can take the thinking somewhere else entirely.
Some conversations need a perspective that comes from having done something extraordinary, led through something difficult or seen the world from a very different angle.
David and Anna bring lived experience, serious expertise and stories that do far more than fill a speaking slot.
They make people think.

David has spent more than 30 years leading people through situations where clarity, trust and good judgement really matter.
His experience spans military and commercial leadership, from the Gulf War and the response to Ebola in Sierra Leone to major organisational and cultural transformation.
David is particularly good at seeing connections and helping people look at challenges and opportunities from another angle. He combines rigour and curiosity with a deeply people-centred approach, creating the space to explore complexity, challenge assumptions and find a way forward.
There are some extraordinary experiences behind his work. What matters is what we can learn from them.
Expect perspective, humanity, challenge and questions that open up possibilities.
Anna knows something about what happens when the route you thought you were taking suddenly disappears.
After a life-changing snowboarding accident, Anna learned to sit-ski and went on to represent Great Britain at two Winter Paralympic Games.
That experience gives her a distinctive perspective on performance, change and possibility. As a speaker, coach and mentor, Anna helps people look differently at what’s in front of them, reframe what feels fixed and discover routes forward that might not have been visible before.
Her style is calm, warm and inquisitive, bringing together elite sport, coaching and lived experience of disability without pretending that resilience means simply pushing through.
Expect warmth, perspective and a compelling case for thinking again about what’s possible.

the right people for the work
Between us, we know some brilliant people. Coaches, speakers, supervisors and other specialists whose expertise complements our own.
If the work needs something we don’t bring, we’ll say so. If we know the right person, we’ll bring them into the conversation.
